NEW FINK Pitchers @ Canberra’s hippest new restaurant AKIBA in the city!
Owner operators, the brothers Pete and Mike Harrington opened AKIBA restaurant @40 Bunda Street, Canberrain early December 2014. This exciting new restaurant is location in the ground floor of ActewAGL House (Canberra’s electricity/energy supplier) which is also the venue where Robert Foster’s light sculptures or “Ossolites” is located. AKIBA’s inspiration come partly from informal and exciting atmosphere of the great food halls or dining rooms that you find throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The food is somewhere between Asian barbecue, raw bar and modern day Dim Sum, the cocktails are contemporary and creative. It is therefore fitting that Robert Foster has designed these stunning titanium water pitchers to complement their relaxed yet contemporary style of décor and food.
