The Pod Fruit Tube

Designed by the F!NK Design Team, the F!NK Fruit Tubes are both a functional vessel and sculptural centre piece that fits comfortably on a dining table, sideboard, coffee table or boardroom table. The four shapes are designed to hold a variety of fruit or vegetables and are striking as stand-alone objects and stunning in groups. 

The Pod is anodised red and based on the native Australian Kurrajong seed pod. Its dimensions are 480mm long x 150mm high.

Each Fruit Tube is individually formed utilising Robert Foster’s unique water forming process which creates natural and balanced organic shapes that are then cut to reveal the luminescent colour inside each unique form. The interior of the tubes has been crafted to create a reflective surface that bounces the light off the colourful anodised surface allowing the piece to catch the light and glow from inside. The contrasting, textured black powder coated exterior not only acts as a protective layer but also highlights the individual shape and colour of each piece.
